Strickland's Annual Race for Education will be held Friday, March 30, 2012!Race for Education is by far Strickland's biggest and most fun fundraiser! Strickland keeps 100% of the proceeds! We have used this fundraiser for three years and are hoping for a wonderful fourth year this coming April 2010. You and your family will not want to miss the excitiment and energy of Race for Education! We will need many wonderful and "pumped-up" volunteers to help with the many positions Race offers. Rememeber, " Strickland is most successful when you run the Race!"

Race for Education in it's simplest form...
*Children run/walk around a 1/4 mile track for 1 hour on a school day to help raise funds for educational purposes (specified at a future date). These funds come from the family and friends of each of the children whom are willing to sponsor them. These funds can be by flat donation or per-lap pledges that the sponsor can choose from.
How do the children get sponsored?
* Blank address-label sheets go home with each student. These sheets are to be filled in with everyone's address you can think of whom will be willing to sponsor your child. Once filled in, the labels are sent back to school. In their classroom's, the children will fill out the mailers they will send to these sponsors and stick their labels to them. The more labels your child turns in gives them a better chance at winning more prizes! Check out the attached Race "Fact Sheet" for more information!
